RankMyAgent has named Rachel McQueen one of the Top 100 Agents in Canada for 2025, as part of their R-OSCARS awards. She also took Best of Red Deer for the same year.
Rachel is a REALTOR® with RE/MAX Real Estate Central Alberta, and one of the agents whose website we build and look after. Congratulations from all of us — this one is worth understanding properly.
What this award actually measures
Most industry awards are a sales-volume ranking with a nicer name. This one is not.
RankMyAgent calculates the Top 100 from the quality and rating of verified client reviews on transactions that actually closed — not from how much anyone sold. Every review is checked, and reviews left by an agent, their friends, or anyone paid to write one are rejected. Out of every REALTOR® in the country, the list comes down to a hundred names.
It is not an award for selling the most houses. It is an award for how the people you worked with felt about working with you.
That is a much harder thing to manufacture, and a much better signal for anyone choosing an agent.
What a website had to do with it: nothing
We want to be straight about this, because there is a version of this post that quietly takes credit and it would be nonsense.
No website earns reviews like that. Those came from Rachel answering the phone, doing the work, and looking after people through the largest financial decision most of them will ever make. A site cannot fake that and should not pretend to.
What a good site can do is narrower and worth being honest about. It makes you easy to find when somebody searches your name. It shows your listings without anyone having to update them by hand. It gives people who already trust you a straightforward way to get in touch. It holds your recognition somewhere permanent, rather than on a social feed that scrolls away in a week.
That is the supporting role. The award is hers.
Go and look at the actual site
We would rather show you a working site than describe one. rachelmcqueenrealtor.ca is a PropertyConnector site — live MLS® listings through CREA’s DDF®, map search, saved listings, city pages for Central Alberta, all of it running on its own without anyone touching it day to day.
Search something a buyer in her market would search. Click into a listing. That is the product, in the hands of somebody using it properly.
Congratulations, Rachel
One hundred agents in the country, chosen on what clients said afterwards. That is the one to win.
If you are a REALTOR® wondering what a site like this would look like for your own market, tell us about it — or start with how MLS® listings get onto your own website.
